My professional goal is to build a career in cybersecurity, specifically as an information security consultant or penetration tester.

I aim to join a team specialized in information systems security auditing and consulting, where I can apply my technical skills to identify and fix vulnerabilities while raising awareness about security best practices within organizations.

My Motivations

My passion for cybersecurity stems from the fascination with the perpetual battle between defenders and attackers in the digital environment. This field represents for me the perfect balance between technical challenges, strategic thinking, and ethical responsibility.

I have developed a particular interest in the offensive aspect of security (pentest) as it allows adopting an attacker's mindset while working for an ethical cause: strengthening organizations' security and protecting sensitive data.

The evolving nature of cybersecurity threats is also a strong motivation, as it involves continuous learning and constant adaptation to new technologies and attack techniques.

My Action Plan

To achieve my professional goal in cybersecurity, I have developed a structured action plan:

1. Academic Education

• Pursue a Master's degree in Cybersecurity jointly organized by ULB, UCL, RMA, HE2B and other institutions
• Obtain industry-recognized certifications in cybersecurity
• Continue participating in CTF (Capture The Flag) competitions to enhance practical skills

2. Professional Experience

• Secure an initial position in security or a security-adjacent role
• Gradually transition into more specialized security roles
• Build practical experience in security assessments and implementations

3. Skills Development

• Deepen knowledge in networks, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure
• Master essential security tools and frameworks
• Develop programming skills (Python, Bash) for security automation
• Improve technical documentation and reporting abilities
